GUARA is a select and innovative distribution company, one at which personnel & staff work closely with our Japanese counterparts, stylists, photographers, designers, consultants and other professionals. We maintain an elect associate circle, all of which are well established in the Japanese and international fashion Industry.
GUARA personnel own a distinct knowledge and understanding of the Japanese fashion industry as well as having a clear perspective of the powerful design and creations of the Brazilian culture. At GUARA our goal is to interconnect these two worlds of fashion. To reveal the identity that inhabits the South American continent, our luxury articles such as clothes, jewelry, accessories and handcrafts have now come overseas. Our imported collections sweep a wide variety of styles from smart urban/easy-to-wear and casual to sophisticated and chic.
GUARA is the native name for the fruit-eating, shy wolf that strolls through the Brazilian highlands. This elegant, long-legged animal represents the subtle beauty of the dry looking yet rich savannah. The GUARA wolf’s use of its instinct and its ability to overcome obstacles with grace symbolizes the strength of Brazilian women.
The creator of GUARA, Clara Veiga Ohga is from Brazil, she has worked in the fashion business for almost ten years as a catwalk, photo and video model. It has been her vision to provide brands that personify the beauty, grace and strength of the guara wolf, runner of the highlands.
